Hello, everyone!Hope you’ve all been making your best sweet treats and saving up your best memories for our celebration of Rev. Dave today…it’s from 2-5 PM in The Cup Cafe, and all are welcome. We’ve been getting the space warmed up in anticipation of this weekend’s cold weather and snow…it’ll be a festive and cozy send-off marking the end of Dave’s 25 years of dedicated service to the UU Church of Houlton! During the event, we’ll hear tunes from a number of local musicians (including some oldies-but-goodies!), share memories and reflections, and have a brief “releasing ceremony” that will formally end Rev. Dave’s service to the congregation as our worship leader. If you can’t be here in person, we’re welcoming friends near and far to join by Zoom (Meeting ID: 869 1176 7691 Passcode: 803752).Hope to see all of you there this afternoon! This Sunday’s Service Our January 25th service – “UU for You”, is a “take-two” of Randi Bradbury and Ira Dyer’s January 11th service, which Mother Nature decided to delay. Hopefully she will be a little kinder to us this week, although it will be bitterly cold. Be safe as you come out to church…or stay snuggly warm at home and join us via Zoom this week.
